About Me!
Hail and well met! My name is Chris and I am a character designer, illustrator, and musician. I am a queer individual who is passionate about crafting characters that inspire others to express their most authentic selves. I absolutely adore telling stories through my art, and I’ve had the pleasure of doing so for the last decade of my life.
I have nearly ten years of contracted commission experience, specializing in character design and stylized portraiture. My work has been published in multiple independently published art books, such as Classics But Make It Gay (Nova and Mali), Book of Devotion (Sleepy Wyrm Ed), and Fathoms, a Merfolk anthology featuring over 80 artists.
I’ve had the honor of illustrating the covers of five traditionally published young adult novels, and I hope to take on more of this work in the future. Some titles you may recognize my art on are Infinity Alchemist by Kacen Callender (Tor), Vesuvius by Cass Biehn (Peachtree), and A Time Traveler’s History of Tomorrow by Kendall Kulper (Holiday House). Other than my passion for art, I love tabletop role playing games (like Dungeons and Dragons), video games, singing, period dramas, and cats. In fact, I have a black cat named Kiri, and she is very sweet.
